"Ron Santiago de Cuba is a rum that has travelled the world and seen it all. Here in Estonia, a similar trend is happening as we’re getting inspired by the world outside our reach. But it’s often hard to get your ingredients true-to-form, so we turn to homemade concoctions. And to dial in a bombastic acidic experience in an unusually well-aged Daiquiri, we called on a method used in the Baltics for ages, pickling. Our Yuzu Ponzu vinegar takes inspiration from Japanese cuisine, both in their traditional citric vinegar and also in the choice of the specific citrus. The name is a cheeky wordplay on the genre of music and dance, 'Son Cubano', one of the treasures of Cuba, that originated in the highlands just west of Santiago de Cuba."
