HOT RUM TODDY

A true to heart winter warmer, inspired by the traditional toddy, embellishing the natural spiced aromas found within our aged rums with a seasoned honey syrup for added depth of flavour.

INGREDIENTS
  • 50ml Ron Santiago de Cuba Añejo 8 Year Old
  • 40ml Winter Spiced Honey Syrup*
  • 20ml Fresh Lemon Juice
  • Top Steamed/Hot Water
METHOD

Add the Winter Spiced Honey Syrup to a tempered glass, add hot water & stir well to combine. Top with measure of Rum – garnish & serve.

* Winter Spiced Honey Syrup: Combine 2-parts honey with 1-part water in a pan, add 2 cinnamon sticks, 6 cloves, 3 star anise & a thick slice of ginger. Simmer on low for 15 minutes, allow to cool, strain & bottle.
